Greg Doermer – Section Secretary
Early on Greg joined Pack 782 as a bobcat. In 2013 Greg earned his Arrow of Light award and crossed over to Troop 782. While attending summer camp at the S bar F Scout reservation Greg was elected by his Troop and called out to become a member of the Order of the Arrow. That Fall Greg attended the 2014 Fall Reunion and became an Ordeal Member of Shawnee Lodge #51 Greater St. Louis Area Council. Shortly after Greg moved from St. Louis to Springfield Missouri and started going to school at Springfield Luthern. During that time Greg transferred to Troop 235 Ozark Trails Council and in the following Spring attended the 2015 Spring Encampment and became a Brotherhood member of Wah-Sha-She Lodge #42. Immedietlally after Greg became the Order of the Arrow Troop Representative and regularly attended the Osage Chapter meetings and promoted to his troop about upcoming Lodge events. In the summer of 2015, Greg attended the National Youth Leadership Training as a member of the Black Jack Oak Patrol. After serving a successful term as OATR Greg was elected by his troop to serve as Senior Patrol Leader for two terms in a row. In the summer of 2016, Greg served on Camp Arrowhead Staff as a Councilor in Training and also served on the NYLT staff as a Troop Guide for the Shingle Oak Patrol. Greg also became a Brave in the Tribe of Lone Bear. At the end of the Summer, Greg was awarded the Camp Arrowhead CIT of the year award. That fall at the 2016 Fall Encampment Greg was elected to serve the following year as the Wah-Sha-She Lodge Secretary. Shortly after Greg attended the National Leadership Seminar. In the summer of 2017, Greg once again served on camp staff as the camp’s Order of the Arrow Coordinator. Greg also again served on the NYLT staff as a Quartermaster. In the Fall at Fall Encampment Greg was elected to serve the following year as the Wah-Sha-She Lodge Vice Chief of Program. At the 2018 Section C-5B Conclave held at the Lake of the Ozarks, Scout Reservation Greg was elected to serve the following term as the C-5B Section Secretary. This summer Greg will once again serve on Camp Staff as a member of Scoutcraft and will also again serve on NYLT staff as the Assistant Senior Patrol Leader of Program and will be attending the 2018 National Order of the Arrow Conference at Indiana University. Greg is a Sophmore at Parkview High school and likes to spend time with his friends both the ones he met in school and the ones he has met in his scouting Journey, Greg is also a Life Scout – soon to be Eagle Scout and a very active Brotherhood member of Wah-Sha-She Lodge. Greg’s goal for the near future is to become an Eagle Scout.
