New Section Vice-Chief Bio – Brian B.

Brian B. is the 2019-2020 Section C-5B Vice-Chief. Brian also serves as the 2019 Tamegonit Lodge Chief. As Lodge Chief, Brian has hosted one of the first inductions open to all Scouting Units for the Order of the Arrow. You can read more about this special induction by clicking here. Brian has been a member of the Order of the Arrow for 5 years and is a Vigil Honor member. Before becoming Lodge Chief, Brian served as Tamegonit’s Vice-Chief of Inductions. Before becoming the Vice-Chief of Inductions, Brian served as the Logistics chairman, working hand-in-hand with the ceremonies team to set up ceremony sites and conduct proper ceremonies.

Outside of Scouting, Brian attends Shawnee Mission North High School and is a junior. He has participated in cross country and track, and also plays the Tuba in the marching band. Brian is an International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate and has a passion for learning. Brian also participates in the school math and trivia teams. A scout is reverent, and Brian lives up to this point in his daily life, attending a United Methodist church on a frequent basis and being an active participant in his youth group.

Brian is excited to serve as the 2019-2020 Section C-5B Vice-Chief and hopes to bring the best OA experience to all of Section C-5B’s 5 lodges through continued communication, active training, and an amazing 2020 Conclave experience.
