Seth Murray is the current Section Chief of Section C-1A, serving Arrowmen throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, and eastern South Dakota. Seth joined Scouting in 2007 as a Webelos Scout in Pack 336 chartered in Breckenridge, MN. He then bridged over to Boy Scout Troop 332 where he currently serves as a Troop Committee Member. He has served in many different positions at Northern Lights Council’s Camp Wilderness over the past five years. Seth is an Eagle Scout and a Vigil Honor recipient.
When asked to describe the plans he has for his term, Seth replied “We have many things in store for this next year. Most of which are still a secret. But one big thing we are pushing for is online registration at our next conclave!”
Seth was motivated to run for Section Chief because he wanted to make a difference in his section and help lead C-1A into the second century of our order. One of the biggest things Seth is looking forward to is being able to bond with his fellow officers. He is also excited to make new connections throughout the coming year. One thing Seth says he might not enjoy as much is “the long drives and sleepless nights”, yet it’s basically in his job duties.
The Central Region Communications Team would like to thank Seth for taking the time to talk with us regarding his Section Chief experience. We wish Seth all the best in leading Section C-1A into a new century of service!
