Tyler Harris serves as the Section C-7 Chief, representing Arrowmen in Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana. He’s previously served the Order as C-7 Vice Chief, Lakota Lodge Chief and Chapter Chief. He’s an Eagle Scout, and past Camp Napowan Chaplain, Program Director and Commissioner.
Tyler ran for office because “he wanted to help develop a lasting culture of leadership development that permeated through every level of the Section, especially the Chapter level”. In that same vein, he is planning on revealing new initiatives that support chapters, along with taking a fresh new approach to their 2016 Conclave!
What’s he looking forward to during his term? “I can’t wait to see how I can build relationships with the change agents of scouting and the Order for the future”. He added, “It is a privilege to serve in the position”.
I am a 1966 Eagle Scout awardee, and a NESA Life Member. I was also a Brotherhood level Order of the Arrow awardee. I was selected for Vigil by my ScoutMaster Lloyd P. Dillon in 1970, but was on my way to Basic Training having been recently drafted into military service. I wish to inquire as to fulfilling my VIGIL rank if that is still possible. I would also like to join your organization, as it wasn’t available when I was active in Scouting. Thank you, Jerry R. Bailey, Major, Special Forces (Retired, United States Army.
