				<description>The work done at Manti-La Sal was considered a huge success in the efforts taken to eliminate the invasive tamerisk.   Approximately 13,000 acres, or 33 miles, of channel area around the Joe's Valley Reservoir and Dry Wash in the Manti-La Sal National Forest and in the Buckhorn Wash on Bureau of Land Management land were affected by the removal of tamarisk.</description>

				<description>The I-Corps had been brought from philmont to Santa Fe to fly to Redding California.  The flight was awesome; we had the chance to fly over the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas before our landing in California.  The Grand Canyon is an impressive sight but I don’t believe it lives up to seeing it up-close and personal.</description>
