Biography:

Doug hails from Kit-Ke-Hak-O-Kut Lodge in Omaha, Nebraska and is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor recipient, Founder’s Award recipient, Silver Beaver recipient, Lamb Award recipient and James E. West Fellow. Doug serves as the Advancement Chairman for Troop 492 in the Mid-America Council.

As a youth, Doug was elected as Chapter Secretary, Chapter Chief, Area Lodge Vice-Chief and later elected to serve two terms as Kit-Ke_Hak-O-Kut Lodge Chief. Doug has served as Adviser to numerous Chapter and Lodge committees, Chapter Adviser, Deputy Lodge Adviser, and recently as Section C-5A Adviser and previously has served as C-7 Section Adviser and C-6B Section Adviser. He has staffed several NLS courses.

Doug graduated in 1985 with a Bachlors Degree in Computer Science from Doane College located in Crete, Nebraska and was an active member of Alpha Pi Epsilon Social Fraternity serving twice as Treasurer and one year as Vice-President. Doug was a founding member of the Alpha Pi Epsilon Alumni Association and served as the initial President of ATTEAA and continues to serve as a member of ATTEAA’s Board of Directors, advises the organization’s Scholarship committee and is currently chairing the effort to fully endow the APEAA Scholarship through Doane College.

Doug and his wife Deb recently celebrated 16 years of marriage and together they have two children - Joshua (13) and Paula (11) and two mini-Dachshounds - Husker and Scout. Joshua is currently a Star Scout in Troop 492 and Paula is a second year Junior in her Girl Scout Troop.

Doug is employeed by ConAgra Foods in Omaha as a System Analyst on the IT HR team supporting the Kronos Timekeeping software and ScheduleSoft software applications for many of ConAgra’s food processing plants.
