Preston Podolske currently serves as the Section Chief for C-1B, representing 3,500 Arrowmen in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. He also serves as the Central Region Mighty Leader Editor-In-Chief, and has served before as Kon Wapos Lodge Chief and Secretary. His other scouting participation includes a multitude of Troop positions, as well as time on Gardner Dam Scout Camp and NYLT staff.

Preston said he was motivated to run for Section Chief, as he “saw the opportunity to give back to scouting and the OA one more time and implement ideas through our Lodge Partnership Program (LPP)”. In fact, he plans to work on helping Lodges reach goals like raising event attendance or service hours through the LPP as a major project in his term.

What’s Preston looking forward to most while serving? “Working with other leaders in the Central Region and nation!” Preston is currently a sophomore at The University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, where he’s active in the Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity. He also plays the viola with 9 years experience, and says something you’d never guess about him: He’s colorblind!
